Creative Ministries

At Liberty Christian Church we believe that God is restoring Creative Ministries and the Prophetic Arts to His church.

"For too long, the church has neglected the imagination and wonder of art" comments Colin Harbinson, a leader in the growing art-in-mission movement.

Theresa Dedmon, from Bethel Church, Redding, California comments - "Art in our present culture can be created for the sole purpose of enjoyment, beauty or to express a point of view. Prophetic art takes it a step further and prophesies about who God is through colour, sound, melodies, scripts, drama, fashion and dance. It is alive because it is a living and active rhema word to those who are hungry and open. The arts are literally shaping the destinies of people and creating worlds of life and hope.

Around the world Holy Spirit inspired art is piercing the darkness, bringing God's healing touch to troubled souls and His breath of life to the spiritually dead.

God's nature is to create. He created the heavens and the earth and made man in His own image. If God's first act was to do this then we must see creativity as one of the fundamental characteristics in His nature and in ours. We need to step forward and begin to embrace our creative identity in God".

At Liberty Christian Church we encourage everyone to embrace who they are in God. Each one of us is unique and special and each one of us has something to contribute that only we can bring. It is time for God to shatter the lies that surround our creativity as a human beings and for each one of us to know that God loves what we create, because it comes from us, not because it is perfect.
