Scripture tells us that we are to walk worthy of the calling, to walk in the Spirit and that we are to be merciful as He is merciful. In all this we cannot afford to walk unconnected to God. His intention is that we would all walk in victory. Are we going to unlock this promise or will we hold it as a religious truth only.

We need to feed our spirit man on who God is. In this message Trent highlights one of God’s characteristics – His Goodness. God’s heart is for redemption. God is looking for a people who will be expectant for what He has promised. Psalm 31:19 tells us that God stores up goodness to pour out on us. It is time the church represented God as He is. We are His visual aid to the world and should reflect His goodness.

Both you and I are the gospel that people get to read. What kind of Jesus will I represent?  God is recalibrating His church as we are being reintroduced to Jesus.  The true sound of heaven is of joy, kindness, people being set free, people realising how well they are thought of in heaven and we are supposed to resonate the sound of heaven.  God’s glory, His goodness will be shown visibly on the streets in the last days. We are to overcome evil with goodness, just as Jesus went around doing good.

You can only counterfeit that which is real therefore for there to be false prophets there must still be true prophets. In his sermon Trent gives us 4 keys for judging prophetic words today. He identifies 3 parts to prophetic words and gives sound advice for what to do about prophetic words that aren’t right. It’s time to start living from a kingdom perspective.

The church has lived with an inferior revelation  for too long – thinking that grace has empowered us to keep the law. The reality is that we have been set free from sin, because of what Christ has done. The glory of God resides in each believer and every person we encounter has an opportunity to encounter God because we are an open door.
