Trent's weekly muse 11th Nov - A smorgasbord!
This week I am sharing with you a bit of a smorgasbord – I have listed some statements I would encourage you think about. There are some statements that I have made in my sermon, some quotes and a few of our declarations. I know that as you think on them and declare them over your life there is a transaction that takes place which will bring ever-increasing levels of intimacy with God and freedom and power in your life.
- God is good all the time
- I motivate others through revealing the goodness of God in their lives
- The goodness of God envelopes me with magnificent love, unrestricted acceptance and safety.
- The fear of punishment has been broken off my life, and now I am motivated with an ever-increasing revelation of God’s love and goodness
- “Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end...” Isaiah 9:6-7.
- Faith is not the absence of doubt; it’s the presence of belief.
- Faith grabs hold of the reality of the Kingdom and forcefully brings it to bear and deal with the natural reality that we are living in.
- There is always a balance between Demand and Supply. In the world there will always be more demand than supply.In heaven the Supply is ALWAYS greater than the demand. You decide on the supply – how much you will take. God has not restricted His supply of Heavens provision.
- You decide! God is liberal .God is bountiful. God does not give miserly.God does not give stingily. God is love. You have to decide – Are you going to take hold of all your inheritance that is there for you in Him?
- I have determined to live my life in such a way that the Kingdom of God will always be advancing through me
- Disciplines are meant to be like guardrails on the highway of life that help us to keep us on the road. Guardrails cannot provide the fuel that our hearts were made to burn. The fire that gives us strength is that which comes from encounter with God.
- We were never called to live a task-orientated life. Instead we are called to live through love and vision & freedom.
- I have resolved that I will always have my love on toward people
- The devil has deceived the church to go on a journey of trying to earn what God had already given her.
- Honour is to relate to others according to their destiny not to their history
- I have resolved that I will live from who God says I am – not by what my past experiences or people tell me I am
- I have resolved that I am going to live a life glistening with Hope.
- I have resolved that I will feed constantly on the testimonies of the good things that God has done. This means I will think about them, I will rejoice in them and I will talk about them with others
- I think myself happy - Acts 26:2
- The goal of faith is not to create a set of immutable, rationalized, precisely defined and defendable beliefs to preserve forever. It is to recover a relationship with God.
- Faith has been reduced to a comfortable system of beliefs about God instead of an uncomfortable encounter with God. (Dan Taylor)
- God is calling us into new levels of identity & relationship.
- People who make a difference sometimes are successful simply because they persevere
- Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors. (African Proverb)
- Faith is the muscle that moves Heaven
- We have to bring our experience up to the word, not the word down to our experience
- The reality of heaven within us is greater than the inferior reality of sickness around us!
- Complaining is to the devil what praise is to God. (Bill Johnson)
- Marriages and churches split because we have agreement-based relationships instead of covenant-relationships.(Kris Vallotton)
- Trials do not create who you are but reveal what's already inside
- The Lord has uniquely designed you to be a person that should live in his glory - his manifest presence. (Bill Johnson)
- Favour is about placement not performance
- Our words have creative power to bring breakthrough and to demolish strongholds
- Our words and our declarations determine our destiny
- In the presence of sin, the Pharisees were afraid, but when Jesus was in the presence of sin, He was the solution.(Danny Silk)
- Earth is freedom practice getting us ready for Heaven's unlimited options.
- God desires to move upon his people so that they too can do seemingly impossible things. (Jack W. Hayford)
- You and I will always reflect the nature of the world we are most aware of! (Bill Johnson)
- Faith is not the result of striving. It is the result of surrender.
- Bold faith is the result of embraced grace!

- We are learning to be vulnerable to the overwhelming goodness of God
