Our Values

We will be a church that does everything for the Glory of God

  • A church that is presence led, not purpose driven
  • A church that preaches a gospel of the Kingdom
  • A church that through the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus’ love, mercy, grace, truth, purity, power and integrity would shine through all that we are and do

We will be a church that is fervant and reverent in our worship

§         A church where people are inspired to worship God with their whole selves, joyfully giving to Him all that He deserves – including their hearts, words, bodies, time, talent and treasure. 

 §         A church that cultivates an intimate and personal relationship with Jesus 

 §         A church where prayer is essential, because it is our primary means of communion with God and because it is God’s primary means of accomplishing His purposes in the world.

 

 

We will be a church that lives in both the Word and the Spirit

§         A church where the power of God is present to heal people 

§         A church where there is a high expectation of God’s presence and God’s present-tense activity 

§         A church that submits itself to the Bible concerning all that we do and believe 

§         A church that welcomes all of the gifts of the Spirit 

§         A church whose theology is centred upon the Kingdom of God

 

 

We will be a church that celebrates God's amazing grace

§         A church whose atmosphere is grace 

§         A church where leaders model vulnerability 

§         A church where people can easily take off religious masks and find real fellowship and healing at the foot of the cross

§         A church that knows that grace and mercy is fundamental to all that God does in salvation 

§         A church that extends mercy to one another and to all to whom we minister

 

 

 

 

We will be a church that commits to develop loving, vital and meaningful relationships that permeate every part of church life

§         A church that values every person, from the youngest to oldest, as uniquely enabling the church to fulfil its mission 

§         A church that treats others with warmth, empathy, and respect 

§         A church that is committed to small groups as a way of life, for it is in small groups that life change happens best 

§         A church that holds one another accountable 

§         A church that celebrates our successes

 

 

 

 

We will be a church that demonstrates SERVANT LEADERSHIP

§         A church whose leadership will exercise authority with humility, selflessness, grace, care for the “sheep” and a sincere desire to build up the Body of Christ. 

§         A church that does nothing for “religious effect” but rather to operate in natural low-key, non-hype patterns. 

§         A church that does the ministry of Christ with joy.

§         A church that has developed an atmosphere of ease, and to speak, and act in a way that best allows the glory to go to God

 

 

 

We will be a church in which everyone gets to participate

§         A church where ministry is done by every member, not just the pastors.

§         A church that equips people through training both for ministry and for life.

§      A church that equips families and supports marriage

 

 

 

We will be a church that reaches out to the least and the lost

§         A church that is a friend to our community.

§         A church that is generous and giving.

§         A church where things are so clearly and reasonably articulated that they make sense to a thinking follower of Christ as well as the unchurched person .

§         A church that passes on the faith from generation to generation.

§         A church that brings people from darkness to light.

§         A church whose facility acts as a mission base that serves our mission and not as a monument that we have to serve.

§         A church that supports world missions.

 

 

 

We will be a church that cares about

§         The Truth of God. 

 

§         The Power of God. 

 

§         The Love of God .

 

 

 

We will exist for Christ and the world and not just for ourselves
