Heartbeat

Heartbeat is an exciting, interactive programme for children aged 6 to year 6, based on material from Kidmo and Bethel Church ( Redding, California ). As with all three of our Sunday morning children’s ministries, the purpose of Heartbeat is to equip children to be an open heaven, so they can do the work of the Kingdom.

Our programme begins at 9:45 am with activity stations, creating a fun-filled atmosphere that draws children in and also allows relationship-building between the children and their leaders, as well as with their peers.

After a time of worship through song, and sometimes ‘soaking’ in God’s presence, the Bible teaching is presented and there are often team competitions based on Bible story questions and learning the day’s memory verse (which involves actions to reinforce the truth of God’s word). Then the children divide into small groups where personal application of the day’s Bible truths and key concepts are fostered through games, drama, discussion and prayer. There may also be times where the children listen to God for words of encouragement for the other children in the group.

Heartbeat values making space for the Holy Spirit to move freely and powerfully in the lives of the children, as well as helping the children to discover all that they are in Christ.

Blastoff

Three to five year olds enjoy a structured programme that is full of fun learning activities, including a Bible story, songs, games, prayers and crafts, that lead them to an understanding of their wonderful heavenly Daddy and His Son Jesus. They are introduced to the concept of soaking in God’s presence, where they spend time connecting with God and receiving His love.

Jump Start

This ministry for sitting babies to three year olds provides a relaxed, safe environment where children begin to discover who God is and how much He loves them. The morning programme includes fun action songs, sometimes with musical instruments, a story time, morning tea and free play. During the holidays, the two preschool ministries (up to children aged 6) combine and the programme is lead by a team of parents.

Nursery

A cozy, welcoming space for Mums to attend to their little ones and be able to listen to the services via a live feed plus a cuppa is available

Lansford Community Playgroup

This is the place to bring your preschooler on a Friday morning 9.30 am to 12 noon during the school term. A friendly, sunny and relaxed place to interact with your child and with other mums and dads. Make new friends as well. Heaps of creative crafts, free play, music, sandpit, outdoor area and a great morning tea.

Mainly Music

Come and bring your preschooler to our mainly music session which runs for an hour on a Wednesday at 9.45 am. Heaps of fun with music and movement, stay for morning tea and make new friends.
